Born in Ottawa, Canada, September 10, to a Canadian super mom and a Greek dad who worked in the film industry, you can only imagine how I got the film bug .From a young age I dream of portraying a character who took life upon the big screen, being on camera and enjoying everything the set has to offer. I started doing commercials as a baby for milk, diapers, you name it and went on to film at the age of fifteen. Since then I have been in several European films and a few North American films constantly working at becoming better and better in portraying different characters and personalities. I long to be recognized for my talent and be seen for the creative side I carry. As for my other interests, I started riding motorcycles when I was five years old, and have had a passion for them ever since. I love extreme sports and a dream come true would be to drive a Formula One racing car. I’m a sporty person with a particular interest in volleyball and ice-skating (go figure!). My other interests include acting, modeling, broadcasting, and dancing. I would like to major in psychology as I feel I can identify with and feel compassion for what makes, shakes, and breaks people. I feel I could contribute to helping those in need through counseling in the future. Over the years I've participated in fundraisers for various organizations, and was a volunteer for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. I firmly believe in the circle of giving, and love to give back. I am also an enthusiastic multi-tasker and a people person. Give me an event that needs organizing and I’ll do it. Give me a party that needs punch and I’m on it! The more challenge there is, the better. Bring it on! Living in Europe made it easy to travel to other countries and experience other cultures. Now my base is in Canada and combining European and North American views has shaped my outlook on life and the world we live in today. I like to think that I am a straight forward, fun, honest, loving and giving person with an outgoing personality, and a sense of humor. I love my family for always being there watching my back, and I cherish all of my good friends because good friends are hard to find. I have to say I like people who are down to earth, honest and are themselves, because after all, flowers bloom from the inside out.
Michael Nevradakis - I’m a Ph.D. candidate at The University of Texas (Austin) in the field of Media Studies, and my PhD research is being conducted on the ground in Greece, with a focus on social and new media and its impact on public discourse in Greece during the crisis. I’ve been producing and hosting Dialogos Radio since August 2010, and have some previous experience with radio, including work as the program director of the campus radio station of my undergraduate university, Stony Brook University (New York). I manage two online radio stations, Dialogos Radio 24/7 and Radio Begleri, but more recently, I became involved with FM broadcasting in the United States, as I am the president of a registered non-profit corporation which is the licensee of an LPFM station, WCSQ-LP, based in a community in Upstate NY, just outside of Albany, the state capitol. The station operates on-air as “Radio Cobleskill” and for most of the week features a “hot AC” format that I designed and programmed myself. Even from afar, I handle programming and management duties for the station, while individuals who are locally in the community are working on underwriting, sponsorship, and engineering issues when they arise. Continuing on, I contribute many of my interviews to publications such as Mint Press News and Freepen.gr and have previously written for other outlets as well, ranging from the Huffington Post to Hot Doc magazine in Greece.
